Centre For Geocultural Studies

The initiative to establish Centre for Geocultural Studies is not just about the establishment of an academic institution but also about igniting a comprehensive cultural and intellectual movement. This initiative recreates and celebrates the unique legacy of the geocultural heritage of Bharat by bringing together scholarly research, cultural revival, educational reform, and policy advocacy. The multidimensional approach will give India’s rich geocultural tradition a respectable shelf life, away from academic bottlenecks but within public imagination as an essential part of Bharat’s identity and heritage. At the start of this journey, we are laying the groundwork for a world where the indigenous wisdom is brought to global discourse, strengthens national identity, and inspires the next generation. Bharat’s geocultural legacy will be illuminated, honoured and preserved for all time through strategic execution and a collective commitment.

Geocultural Studies

The Centre for Geocultural Studies organized the JAMBUDWEEP DISCUSSION on August 17-18, 2024, at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. This significant dialogue aimed to deepen our understanding of Bharat's historical and cultural foundations. The discussion provided valuable insights that enrich contemporary discourse on the Idea of Bharat and its continuing relevance in today's context.
